Commonwealth game is knocking at the door and the whole India is busy in preparation for this biggest sporting extravaganza. States like Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan had already started with special tourism packages for that period. The director general of the games organizing committee Jiji Thomas demanded that the Government of Kerala should make special tourism packages to attract tourist during that period. More than 1 lakh foreign tourists are supposed to visit India thus it is the best period to promote tourism of the country. There will be special trains which will run from Delhi to Kerala for publicizing during the games period.
